Side Lofted Barn

Description: Features the same high gambrel roof and interior overhead loft space as a standard lofted barn, but shifts the layout. The entry door and windows are placed on the long side of the building instead of the short end, making it easier to organize left-to-right.

Common Uses: Ideal for narrow yards where the building must sit parallel to a fence or property line. It’s highly popular for workshop setups because you can place a long workbench directly across from the door.
